5. Install Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is the official application for managing your wallet.

Download and Install:

Once installed, open the Suite and connect your Trézór® to your computer using the USB cable.

6. Firmware Check & Update

8. Set a PIN Code

The PIN is an essential layer of protection in case your device falls into the wrong hands.

• Choose a strong 4–9 digit PIN.
• Avoid obvious patterns (1234, 1111, birthdates).
• On Model One, you’ll use a grid system to mask input.
• On Model T, enter the PIN directly via the touchscreen.

9. Enable Passphrase Protection (Optional but Advanced)

For experienced users, Trézór® supports passphrase protection. This adds a custom word or phrase that acts like a "25th word" to your recovery seed.

Each passphrase generates a completely separate wallet. Without it, your assets remain invisible and inaccessible—even if your seed phrase is compromised.

Important:

• Trézór never stores your passphrase
• You must remember it exactly
• If forgotten, assets protected by the passphrase cannot be recovered

10. Start Using Your Wallet

Your Trézór® is now fully set up. You can begin sending, receiving, and managing your cryptocurrency assets.

13. Resetting or Wiping Your Device

To Reset:

Wiping a device does not delete your wallet, as long as you have your seed phrase safely stored.
